IT Disaster Recovery Specialist
Frankie Cuthbert has worked in the banking industry since 1992. She started off in the Retail Branch and performed many retail banking functions. In 1994 she moved into the bank’s IT environment more specifically the ATM network area. She later moved onto 2nd level Network Support and 2nd level Helpdesk support. She was exposed to the node room environment, network infrastructure installations, de-installations, vendor liaison and problem detection and determination. In 2001 she moved to the Incident and Problem Management space where she was exposed to all the IT functions and areas within the bank. This included the networks, IT Security, Mainframe, WebSphere, Applications and databases. In 2007 she moved to the Disaster Recovery area where she setup the Governance for the area which included IT BCM and Disaster Recovery, DR Steerco’s, Risk and Audit for BCM/DR, end-to-end DR testing, DR plans and recovery documents, DR policy and DR testing Strategy. She has completed many technical courses, soft skill courses, BCM/DR and risk courses.
